Privacy policy

Last updated: 13 September 2026

Thirdesk is a subscription app that picks one café for each work slot you create. This policy explains what we store, who we share it with, and how you can delete it.

What we store

  • Your account email and sign-in provider (Apple, Google, or email OTP).
  • Places you save — name, address, and coordinates for Home and any other pins.
  • Your slots — times, repeat days, place, max walk, travel mode, and pause state.
  • Desk history — venue chosen, travel time, leave/arrive/work/back times, and status for each slot on each date.
  • Your Expo push token, so we can send desk notifications.
  • Subscription status linked to your account.

How we use location

We only read your device location when you tap I'm here during a revealed desk. The check runs in the foreground. We compare your position to the venue to confirm check-in; we do not store your location beyond that result.

Third parties

  • Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and server functions. Your data is stored in their cloud infrastructure.
  • Google Places and Routes — find nearby cafés, opening hours, and walking travel times from your saved places. We send coordinates and slot times; we do not send your email or account id to Google.
  • Expo — delivers push notifications to your iPhone.
  • RevenueCat and Apple — process subscriptions and free-trial billing. Payment details stay with Apple; we receive entitlement status only.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. Delete account in the You tab removes your profile, places, slots, desks, push tokens, and subscription records from our database. If you need help, email support@thirdesk.com.
